BJWL provides after school programs for children ages 5-18, free of charge to residents, through a grant from the Department of Human Services (DHS). Hours of the after school operation are from 3pm – 7:30pm Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9:30am – 3pm. The programs include snacks and dinner, homework help, computer tutoring, reading, games (both indoor and outdoor), and field trips. During the summer the hours are from 9am – 5pm. Fund administered by the Pennsylvania Family Resources, Inc.

• Scheduled full day programming during extended school vacation and all day summer programs
• Community Summer breakfast and lunch feeding program up to age 18 mid June to mid August
• Boys and Girls Scouts
